Discover the possibility of continuous respiratory insights for enhanced COPD research.
We aim to collaborate with researchers in the field to enhance the research process, streamlining extensive data collection and simplifying participation requirements.
Unlock Extensive long-term data collection
Our cutting-edge hardware and data collection platform redefines research possibilities. Reduce costs and time associated with COPD research. Unearth new patterns and evidence for exacerbation triggers, advancing understanding of disease progression.
Be a part of innovating COPD management
Gain access and actively contribute to the refinement of the most advanced Early Warning System (EWS).
This empowers healthcare providers with the tools they need to identify subtle changes in vital parameters, enabling timely intervention and preventing exacerbations.
Ensure participant-centric monitoring
Designed for ease-of-use, our non-demanding wearable device ensures a seamless experience for participants throughout the monitoring process.
Simplify participation demands and requirements, enhancing patient engagement in research and monitoring.
Scientific Proof of Concept
Respiratory Medicine Case Reports, Volume 34 (July, 2021)
Early identification and treatment of COPD exacerbation using remote respiratory monitoring
“COPD exacerbations are underreported by patients which leads to worse outcomes.
Conversely, when early therapies for exacerbations are instituted, patients have shorter symptom duration, improved quality of life as well as decreased hospitalizations.
The use of respiratory RPM has the potential to reduce COPD treatment delays leading to improved care.”
American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, Volume 169, Issue 12 (June, 2004)
Early therapy improves outcomes of exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
“Treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) exacerbations improves outcomes. Earlier treatment was associated with a faster recovery. Patients who reported a higher proportion of exacerbations for treatment had better health-related quality of life than those patients with more untreated exacerbations. Failure to report exacerbations was associated with an increased risk of emergency hospitalization.”
Chronic Respiratory Disease, Volume 13, Issue 3 (June, 2016)
Use of predictive algorithms in-home monitoring of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and asthma: A systematic review
“Reducing the impact of exacerbations through the early recognition of symptoms and prompt treatment may reduce the risk of hospitalization, improve health-related quality of life (HRQoL) and control the burden of COPD.”
Solution
Our Early Warning System employs a cutting-edge AI algorithm to identify exacerbations in their early stages. The significance? Early detection and subsequent treatment of these exacerbations, which have been scientifically shown to enhance patient outcomes.
